ELAINE MONGEON wrote and directed her short film GOOD MORNING via the inaugural Warner Bros. Emerging Film Directors Workshop, in which only five filmmakers were chosen from over 5,000 applicants worldwide. She was Associate Producer on the Amazon Studios series RED OAKS and the Warner Bros. film MAGIC MIKE XXL. She worked with Emmy Award-winning director/producer/writer Gregory Jacobs, Emmy Award-winning director/executive producer Alex Graves, and Academy Award-winning producer Arnold Kopelson on films and television series that include Steven Soderbergh-directed LOGAN LUCKY, THE KNICK, BEHIND THE CANDELABRA, MAGIC MIKE, CONTAGION, HAYWIRE, and THE INFORMANT!, as well as THE WEST WING and DON’T SAY A WORD. She is co-author of science fiction YA novel, DEVASTATION CLASS, currently out to publishers, and has several scripted film and television projects in development. An alumna of Boston University, Elaine grew up in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and Nantucket, Massachusetts. She fancies motorcycle riding, backcountry camping, glacier traversing, and any event that involves wearing a costume.
